Success Story

Virbby

Virbby is a technology start-up that has developed a platform that connects people and organizations needing immediate interpretation services in everyday settings with an available bilingual person willing to help. Community organizations and schools often need help communicating with people with limited English proficiency, but professional language services are often too expensive and overkill for everyday needs. Virbby connects these organizations with bilingual people on-demand at a fraction of the cost.

The Challenge

Limited Resources

Like many start-ups, Virbby has multiple opportunities and a large addressable market but only limited resources. They needed to determine which actions to prioritize to get a strong foothold in a desirable area and grow from there.

Marketing

Marketing efforts were minimal and needed improvement.

Sales

Virbby needed to optimize their sales.

Product Development

Development prioritizing was crucial.

Business Model

While the idea was great, the business model needed refinement.

The Result

A Prioritized Set of Goals

With My Business Roadmap, Virbby was able to define a set of goals they needed to reach and the roadmap, timeline, and actions required to achieve those goals. They have since been working on critical features and increasing their client base in areas where they have already made inroads.
